Practical summary. We collect the information you choose to submit through our forms, the information needed to operate Mastery Method portal access, and basic hosting/security information that is generated when you use the site. We do not sell personal information. We use service providers such as website hosting and form processing to run the site.
Educational support and website operationsThe Pressure Academy is based in Australia. We aim to handle personal information in a way that is consistent with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles, where they apply. This page is written to reflect the website and workflow that currently exist. It is not intended to invent features, legal rights, or compliance claims that are not part of the actual service.
1. What this policy covers
This policy applies to information collected through:
- the public pages of The Pressure Academy website
- TPA lead capture forms on the main site
- Mastery Method enquiry and booking forms
- the Mastery Method scorecard form and scorecard results flow
- Mastery Method portal access and portal session handling
- direct contact with us by email or linked enquiry pathways
2. What information we may collect
The information we collect depends on which part of the site you use.
- TPA public-site lead capture: contact details and any information you choose to submit through public forms.
- Mastery Method booking and enquiry: parent or guardian name, email address, child first name, child year level, observations, prior support history, learning-difference information supplied by the parent or guardian, and any additional notes you choose to provide.
- Mastery Method scorecard: your name, email address, optional child year level, scorecard responses, calculated score outputs, pillar-level results, and related follow-up fields submitted with the scorecard.
- Portal access: invite-token validation, session-cookie data needed to keep the portal session active, and portal progress or activity data stored in the browser on the device you use.
- Contact and support correspondence: anything you include when you email us or contact us for access, support, or follow-up.
- Technical and hosting information: basic server, request, browser, and security information generated when the site is served through our hosting providers.
3. Parent and child information
Mastery Method is presented on this site as an educational support service for families. In practice, the child-related information collected through current website forms is expected to be provided by a parent or guardian, not by the child directly.
If you submit information about a child through the Mastery Method booking form or scorecard flow, you should only provide information you are entitled to provide as that child's parent, guardian, or authorised caregiver.
Nothing in this privacy policy should be read as a claim that the website provides medical diagnosis, clinical assessment, or regulated health services. The current website and forms are used for educational support enquiries, scorecard delivery, and portal access management.
4. Why we use personal information
We may use personal information to:
- respond to enquiries and communicate with you
- process TPA lead captures and requested follow-up
- review whether Mastery Method is an appropriate fit for your family
- prepare for a Clarity Call, Clarity Assessment discussion, or follow-up support conversation
- deliver scorecard results and related follow-up communications
- provide or manage access to the Mastery Method portal
- maintain, secure, and improve the operation of the website and related services
- comply with legal obligations or respond to legitimate safety, fraud, or security issues
5. How information is collected
We collect information when you:
- submit a public-site form or waitlist form
- submit the Mastery Method booking or enquiry form
- complete the Mastery Method scorecard and request your results
- use an invite link to activate portal access
- access portal pages that rely on session cookies or browser storage
- contact us directly by email or other direct communication channels
6. Cookies, sessions, and browser storage
The public website may generate standard hosting and security logs. In addition, the Mastery Method portal uses session and browser-storage features that are part of the current implementation.
- Portal session cookie: when a valid invite link is used, the server can issue a secure session cookie to keep portal access active on that device for a limited period.
- Portal browser storage: portal progress and related view/activity state may be stored in your browser on the device you use so the portal can remember progress-related information.
- Clearing data: portal browser-storage data can usually be removed by clearing site data in your browser. Signing out or waiting for the session to expire can also end portal access on that device.
7. Forms, downloads, and resources
We use form-processing services to receive website submissions. Where we offer a downloadable resource, send follow-up information, or provide a link after a form submission, we use the contact details you provided to deliver that material and related communication.
We do not state here that every possible resource, campaign, or follow-up sequence is active at all times. This policy is intended to cover the current form-driven workflows in a truthful way without inventing campaigns or automations that are not verified.
8. Service providers and disclosure
We may disclose information to service providers that help us operate the website and deliver submissions. These may include:
- website hosting and delivery providers, including Vercel
- form processing providers, including Formspree
- email, communications, and operational support tools we use to respond to enquiries or deliver requested material
- professional advisers, legal authorities, or regulators where disclosure is reasonably necessary or legally required
We do not sell personal information.
9. Analytics and measurement
This policy does not claim that a separate website analytics platform is currently installed on every page. If a dedicated analytics tool is added later, this page should be updated to describe it properly.
That said, our hosting and service providers may still generate operational logs, security data, and basic request information as part of running the site.
10. Overseas processing
Some service providers used to host the site or process forms may store or process information outside Australia, including in the United States or other countries where their infrastructure operates. Where this happens, we aim to use reputable providers and reasonable safeguards in the circumstances.
11. Security
We take reasonable steps to protect information against misuse, interference, loss, unauthorised access, modification, or disclosure. Those steps may include secure hosting, restricted account access, and using secure service providers for forms and portal session handling.
No internet service is completely risk-free, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
12. Retention
We keep information for as long as it is reasonably needed for the purpose it was collected, including responding to your enquiry, managing follow-up, supporting Mastery Method operations, maintaining portal access, meeting legal obligations, or handling legitimate operational issues.
Some data may also remain in your own browser until it is cleared by you or your browser. For example, portal progress data stored locally on your device may persist until site data is removed.
13. Access, correction, and deletion
If you want to access, correct, or request deletion of personal information we hold about you, contact us using the details below. We will review the request and respond in a way that is reasonable in the circumstances, subject to legal, technical, and operational constraints.
14. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the “Last updated” date on this page. If the way the site handles information changes materially, this policy should be updated to match.
